In the second episode of the Raut podcast, we travel to Vysočina for the launch of the Partisan Trail (Partyzánská stezka) – an audio guide to the landscape of Horácko, which tells the story of the Romani partisan Josef Serinek. The art project is introduced by its author, intermedia artist and researcher Martin Pfann. In the second part of the podcast, we talk to artist Erika Meszárosová about women in the Slovak National Uprising, their involvement in the partisan resistance and the ephemeral monuments Erika creates for them.

I Promise is an art project conceived by Sráč Sam and curated by Tereza Stejskalová and František Fekete in the gallery SVĚTOVA 1. The exhibition is organized by the tranzit.cz initiative in the gallery SVĚTOVA 1. The public opening of the exhibition will take place on March 14, 2025, and the exhibition will run until May 10, 2025. Admission is free of charge.

Every summer some 300 students from more than 50 countries participate in around 20 classes at the Salzburg Summer Academy. Well-known artists, curators and critics from all over the world offer courses focusing on topical questions of art production, as well as curatorial practice and writing about art. The participants can choose from various courses taking place at Salzburg Summer Academy between July 21– August 30, 2025.

On Selling Art and Selling Sex /
We cordially invite you to the launch of the Czech translation of Working Girl: On Selling Art and Selling Sex by New York-based writer, artist and sex worker Sophia Giovannitti. The book launch will take place on December 4, 2024, from 6pm at the Safe space bookstore. With its compelling combination of personal stories, critical (auto)theory, and excursions into the history of art and sex work, Working Girl can be considered a groundbreaking work of contemporary feminist art theory.
