Press release: Biennale Matter of Art announces dates and venues for 2026 edition



The international exhibition and public program will be held in three principal locations: The Great Hall of the Trade Fair Palace in Prague, GAMPA – City Gallery Pardubice, and Tusculum Prague. The dates for the fourth edition are June 12–September 13, 2026.

The publishing house tranzit.cz has just released a Czech translation of the memoir by New York author and psychologist hannah baer, trans girl suicide museum. In the ninth episode of the Raut podcast, we talk to painter Paula Gogola, whose work appears on the book cover, and to the author of the afterword, poet, director, and librettist Richard L. Kramár. We discuss the metaphor of the museum, identity politics, even queer opera. The book addresses the use of ketamine, a dissociative psychoactive substance popular among trans people, which is why we invited Dr. Eva Kozáková, who works as a therapist at the Psyon psychedelic clinic, specializing in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.

The 2025 Performance Art Festival – Bodies Craving to Believe will take place on Friday, November 7, from 7:00 p.m. in the unique industrial space of the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant in Prague-Bubeneč (Čistírna1906). The program features six original performances exploring corporeality as a medium of emotional expression, hope, and queer self-determination, presented by artists Miriama Kardošová, Dominik Styk, eva susová, Aliza Orlan, CTM & Skjold Rambow, and Alex Franz Zehetbauer.
