Fellowships for Curators and Artists at Salzburg Summer Academy 2026
CALL for APPLICATIONS now open until March 15 /
Every summer some 300 students from more than 50 countries participate in around 20 classes at the Salzburg Summer Academy. Well-known artists, curators and critics from all over the world offer courses focusing on topical questions of art production, as well as curatorial practice and writing about art. Participants may choose a one-week or two-week course from the Academy’s rich programme, taking place between 20 July and 29 August 2026.
The Fellowships for Curators and Artists at Salzburg Summer Academy
are designed for
• artists and curators at the beginning of their career
• address candidates from Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Ukraine
• cover the course fee for up to two weeks,
include travel & daily allowance and accommodation

📢 CALL for APPLICATIONS 2026: Artist-in-Residence Programme at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna
Deadline: 14. 9. 2025 /
The participants are given the opportunity to live and work in one of the MuseumsQuartier studios right in the heart of Vienna. The residencies are aimed at artists and curators from Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, and Ukraine working in the field of critical contemporary visual art to do research in their respective area.

Open call: Artist-in-Residence Programme 2025 at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna
Call for applications 2024 is now open until September 15th, 2024 /
The residencies are aimed at artists and curators from Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovak Republic and Slovenia, working in the field of critical contemporary visual art to do research in their respective area. An additional post is added for an artist or curator from Ukraine for the period of two months.

ERSTE Foundation offers fourteen fellowships for young artists and emerging curators from Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine to take part in a course of their choice at the International Summer Academy of Fine Arts in Salzburg 2023.
