2025 Editorial Plan
In recent years, the main mission of tranzit.cz publishing house has been to publish translations of important texts of feminist thought, theory and prose, which are published in the navigation edition. tranzit also publishes books by artists and collectives, theoretical and artistic manifestos, and anthologies of texts. tranzit collaborates on books with contemporary artists from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, who are the authors of book covers, illustrations or other artistic interventions. The tranzit.cz initiative was founded in 2002.
In addition to publishing books, tranzit organizes the international contemporary art biennial Matter of Art, a festival of performance art, artist and curatorial residencies and discursive programs.
