The publishing house tranzit.cz has just released a Czech translation of the memoir by New York author and psychologist hannah baer, trans girl suicide museum. In the ninth episode of the Raut podcast, we talk to painter Paula Gogola, whose work appears on the book cover, and to the author of the afterword, poet, director, and librettist Richard L. Kramár. We discuss the metaphor of the museum, identity politics, even queer opera. The book addresses the use of ketamine, a dissociative psychoactive substance popular among trans people, which is why we invited Dr. Eva Kozáková, who works as a therapist at the Psyon psychedelic clinic, specializing in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
