Book pre-launch: Laundry Collective – Píčou ke zdi (Cunt Against the Wall)
Everyone is cordially invited to the launch of the first collaborative book by the Laundry Collective, Píčou ke zdi (Cunt Against the Wall), which will take place on September 10, 2025, at 7 p.m. in Prague at Café Imbus in the UMPRUM building. During the launch, goulash and sandwiches will be served free of charge, there will be a special musical surprise, and electronic organ player Jana Budíková will also perform. You will be able to purchase the book on site, meet the members of the collective, buy their T-shirts, or get a tattoo of motifs from the book.
The book Píčou ke zdi (Cunt Against the Wall) contains more than two hundred pages of original illustrations and interviews conducted by members of the collective with each other and other selected individuals, as well as photographs from past art projects and selected poems. The book will be published in September 2025 and will feature an embossed cover with imitation black leather designed by graphic designer Lê Thị Hoài and edited by Tereza Stejskalová and František Fekete.

IMPORTANT: Statement on the postponement of the publication of the book "P*čou ke zdi"
Dear supporters and readers of tranzit.cz publishing house,
During the printing and production of the book by the Prádelna collective, "P*čou ke zdi" , technical complications arose in the risograph workshop, causing a 10-day delay in the book's release. The book will therefore only be available from September 22, when we will send it out and prepare it for personal pickup by contributors from Donio. We will also present it at the GHMP Art Book Fair in Prague, which will be open from September 20 to 21 at Troja Castle in Prague. Unfortunately, the book will not be available at the planned launch in Prague on September 10. However, we have decided to hold the event anyway and, together with the Prádelna collective, celebrate all the energy and time that the authors have put into preparing this unique art publication. We cordially invite you all to Café Imbus in the UMPRUM building (Mikulandská 5, Prague 1) from 7 p.m. The program includes goulash, sandwiches, two concerts, and a pop-up tattoo parlor. We are also extending our campaign on Donio, where you can pre-order the book or other rewards until September 16. The book can be ordered there for a special price of CZK 550. We would be delighted if you shared the crowdfunding campaign with your friends. Thanks to you, the tranzit.cz publishing house will be able to start preparing new titles sooner and operate sustainably. We greatly appreciate your support, which enables us to prepare artistically demanding publications such as the book by the Prádelna collective.
