Ema Hesterová (*1997, Bratislava) is a contemporary art curator and theorist. She received her bachelor’s degree in art history at the Faculty of Arts of the Comenius University in Bratislava and her master’s degree in contemporary art theory and practice at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. In the past, she worked for Krokus Gallery (2017–2019) and Zahorian & Van Espen (2019–2021). Since 2019, she is an APART Collective member where she focuses on curating, research, publishing, and project management. In 2020 she co-founded and is a curator at A Promise of Kneropy Gallery in Bratislava. Her texts were published in FlashArt CZ/SK, Artalk.cz, and Fotograf Magazine.
