She studied in the Department of Media Studies and Journalism (Faculty of Social Studies) of the Charles University in Prague, and in the Arts Faculty of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in the field of European cultural studies. She is engaged in the mapping of responses to the transition and transformations of the 1990s in art and society.
Was one of the initiators of the project Monument to Transformation, reflecting transformational tendencies in an international social and artistic context. From 2007 she took an active role in this project as assistant curator and co-editor of the book Atlas of Transformation. From 2009 she is co-leading tranzit.cz Publishing program as an Senior editor.
She was also involved in the preparations for the exhibition Manifesta 8 in the Spanish cities of Murcia and Cartagena as the coordinator of the curatorial team, tranzit.org. In the context of the Monument to Transformation project she has worked on the preparation of exhibitions, seminars and symposia – for example, Auditorium, Stage, Backstage – An Exposure in 32 Acts (Frankfurt, 2006/2007), Société anonyme (Paris, 2007), Synonyma (Stockholm, 2007), Prague Biennale 3 (Prague, 2007), Labour Day (Bucharest, 2008), Communism Never Happened / Vocabulary (Bratislava, 2008), 38 Second of Transformation (Gyumri Biennale, Armenia, 2008), Monument to Transformation (City Gallery Prague, 2009; Centre for Visual Introspection, Bucharest, 2009; Montehermoso, Vittoria, 2009; Galerie Miroslav Kraljevic, Zagreb, 2010; Le Plateau, Paris, 2010).
She was commissioner of the Pavilion of the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic (Dominik Lang - The Sleeping City), 54th international Art Exhibition - La Biennial di Venezia, 2011.
