As Radical As Reality Itself

Finissage of the exhibition

Closing event for the second installment of The Kids Want Communism
Tour of the exhibition, conversation, screening, presentations

Curator Tereza Stejskalová (Tranzit, Prague), who curated the compilation “Filmmakers of the World, Unite!” in the exhibition, will discuss Prague as a center for cultural exchange between the Soviet bloc and the Third World. In her presentation she will screen the rare film “Black and White” (Krishma (Krishna) Viswanath, 20 min, 1960s).

Dr. Julia Moritz (Curator of Theory, Kunsthalle Zurich) will focus on the encounter between V.I Lenin and his neighbors from Cabaret Voltaire during his exile in Zurich in 1916, as the Dada movement emerged, juxtaposed with Alexandra Kollontai’s stay in Switzerland and the development of Feminist Communism.

Artist Noa Yafe, who is showing the immersive installation “Red Star” will talk with curator Chen Tamir (CCA, Tel Aviv) about her work in recent years in which she developed a technique that undoes both photography and sculpture.

In addition, Dr. Joshua Simon (Director and Chief curator, MoBY) will give a guided tour of the exhibition.
