The debate will address the polemic provoked by the article Ideology and Literature by the A2 writers Jan Bělíček and Marta Svobodová. All parties to the debate have been invited to join the panel.

The discussion will examine on what values Czech literary criticism is built at present and how the ideological basis of its representatives relates to these values, and how the editorial policy of various periodicals is manifest in their criticism.
