Since 2011 The Pololáníks have been hacking a path through the undergrowth of non-idiomatic improvisation. The five-piece band draws on the wide range of backgrounds and interests of its members. As well as the basic line-up of traditional instruments (laptop, recorder, clarinet/saxophone/guitar, trombone, double bass), the band uses many other instruments created out of found objects, small percussive elements and homemade instruments, all of which contribute to the depth and variability of the band’s sound.
Jaromír Typlt (1973) is a poet who explores the overlap between text, image and sound. He will appear with Michal Rataj (Škrábanice), who records radiophonic compositions and is the author of 3D poems filmed by Viktor Kopasz (Vinice, 2012).
