Why are visual artists creating literary texts?
More and more visual artists are availing themselves of the possibilities offered by text.
Is this because they feel that the expressive resources traditionally associated with visual art are too limited and that literature is one of the ways forward for contemporary art?
How do the literary texts created by visual artists stand up within the sphere of literature as a whole, and do they offer the literary space new stimuli that could in turn inspire writers?
