an interdisciplinary meeting
We cordially invite you to an interdisciplinary meeting focused on electromagnetic, psychosocial and cultural aspects of invisible images.
Contemporary city is a world of multi-layered processes, of which some are not present in the reflection of our every-day experience. The space is loaded by spectrums of migrating data, images and sounds that can not be seen or heard by our “unarmed” senses. Similarly to ionosphere, biosphere, noosphere or infosphere we suggest entitling this phenomenon imagosphere.
What do these omnipresent images, unnoticeable through traditional means of perception, actually look like? How does imagosphere influence various biological systems? How does the imagosphere relate to a (spiritualistic, technological or artistic) medium? What kind of map would we draw to include both visible and invisible coordinates and layers?
