Ján Mančuška – Critical Séance
The evening dedicated to Ján Mančuška
This evening is dedicated to Ján Mančuška. The aim of the evening is not to be a pathos-laden tribute to Mančuška, but a kind of critical séance of his work. Guests include critics and theoreticians, who have been asked to write a short critical review of one of his works of their choosing. We have also invited Karel Císař, who will offer a commentary on a recently published catalogue (which he helped put together), and Hilke Wagner, curator of Mančuška's solo exhibition at the Kunstverein Braunschweig.
The critical séance will be followed by a discussion.
