Philosopher and art historian Georges Didi-Huberman is the initiator of a unique and complex way of contemplating a picture, which makes him one of the most interesting figures on the contemporary French thought scene, but also - as far as the scope, precision and complexity of his theoretical project is concerned – one of few worthy successors of the great generation of thinkers from the 1960s and 70s.
