Artist in Residence - MQ Air 2016

tranzit.cz offers two-months residency as part of the “Artist in Residence” at MuseumsQuartier in Vienna.

The residencies are designed for artists, curators and theoreticians working in the contemporary art scene in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Hungary. The residency is for two months.

Residents have their own studio space in museumsquartier (ie. living and studio space, including all the necessary facilities); for more information:http://www.quartier21.at/artists-in-residence/about/).

The selected residents will obtain a monthly stipend in the amount of 1.050 eur.

One resident will be selected from the Czech Republic for february/march and august/september 2016

Applications
(valid only for Czech Republic; applicants from other countries please send your applications to your tranzit (sk, hu, ro))

Applications send in English in digital form to: v.krejcova@tranzit.org with subject "MQ Air 2016"

Applications have to include the following documents:
1/Complete digital application form, including the following information:
- Your contact information (name, address, e-mail, phone, website)
- Letter of intent(max. 5000 characters)
- Brief informative curriculum vitae (max. 1 page)
2/Portfolio (max. 10 MB)

Please send the two documents as PDF. Other formats cannot be accepted. Please send email with not more than 2 attachments, not more than 10 MB in total.

Residents will be chosen by a committee composed of the heads of Czech, Hungary, Romania, Slovak tranzit initiatives and members of ERSTE Foundation latest until end fo October 2015.

Applicants should be prepared for the requirement to use the residency in its full length and to hand in a report after completion of the residency.
